what is the name of the piece of music used before programmes started in the morning, i think on itv. it was an cartoon type orchestra all grey and silver on stage and had no faces. they would play a piece of music i am sure was classical but maybe not and i think there was lightning in the background. it used to be on in the mornings about 9.25am. i used to see it in the school summer holiday. any ideas?

It sounds to me like Rondo Venziano - that's the name of the performers rather than the song. I've forgotten the particular piece of music they played but I loved it as a kid so much that I got my grandad to find the album for me. I'm sure they did a couple of albums so have a look for it on the Net.
