Do the X Factor judges we see on the show personally audition evry candidate and if not how are the individuals chosen that appear on the show?

nope they dont judge every candidate. there is another audition before this show, there are other judges in diff rooms, then they decide whether they should b on x factor auditions to face them judges.

well my mate told me that cos she went to the audition few yrs go.

No the contestants are pre-auditioned before the judges see them. The huge crowds we see are waiting for the initial audition. Obviously some are put through or the entertainment element, such as the Michael Jackson wannabe who auditioned tonight...

The Irish auditions didn't reflect the talent Ireland has to offer. Woeful. Last girl on tonight had made it through a few years ago looked a bit stage managed giving her a second chance still didn't make any difference thought she was just ok! Haven't seen any great talent yet!

some one said if there are 25000 auditionee's and they each have a 5min audition on average, it would take 80 days to audtion all of them and thats working a 24hr day! ( i think is was David badiel wo said this and i might have got the quote wrong a bit) but no they probibly only see 1% of all the loonys that turn up!!!!!!

my nephew is on the manchester auditions and they've not been aired yet, he went to manchester in april and saw the production team who put him through to the recording with the judges which he went to in july.
