I blurry well hope so. I live about 12 miles from Rothbury!! He could hide out up there for ages if he is well prepared.
the police spokespeople have been saying today that the public are in danger from Moat. I think they're just saying that to wind him up and elicit a response from him, to help in tracing, because he'd made it clear when he was last communicating that he was only interested in targetting coppers...and his ex and her partner.

No way. I was involved in a different but equally nasty situation - when I and a colleague were in danger - nothing; when a policeman was threatened, SEVEN police vehicles appeared, as if by magic.
