Think probably next week. I know its all still raw but was a bit miffed why they cancelled last nights aswell. People really affected in the tragedy arent going to be watching corrie and there is always something on tv, like casualty or Holby that people can relate to. Old Harry Hills just arent funny. But I do find that every time there is a major news story there is always something gets cancelled on TV, the Bill had to stop their kidnap storyline when maddie went missing out of respect.

I don't think Granada has the time or the funds the write brand new episodes giving an entirely different storyline that will fit seamlessly into the episodes already filmed.

Don't forget that this would have been filmed anything up to 6 weeks ago..........

I agree forget, I didn't expect them to cancel last nights as well. Hope they don't cancel tonight's! As you say, people full of grief aren't going to be watching TV.

Corrie invloves a gun and shooting and numerous cast members.
EE is a smaller storyline and 'other means' can be employed..........

Lucas meets up with a prostitute and gets her to beg forgiveness then strangles her. Its too raw to show because of the crossbow killings but what about the Ipswich murders?

The story-writers at EE probably consider that the Ipswich Strangler was too long ago to cause 'upset'................
