The movie Herbie:The Love Bug.

At the end of the movie Herbie races against the "baddie" Thorndyke in his Thorndyke Special.

Does anyone know what type of car the Thorndyke Special was? It was Yellow with a black stripe down it. A google has provided no results yet.
