Excuse me but what exactly is the point of Ant and Dec on Britain's Got Talent? They are really beginning to get on my nerves, standing in the wings and commenting. What a waste of money.

they are funny, sometmes I watch it more for them than the contestants. I'd like to see them judging.
I think they're really good in this programme......they often say what I'm actually thinking....

I used to like them in their own show, but I don't see the point of them in BGT.
I like their take on the acts, they are presenters, like dermot presents xfactor, it gives the show structure however much they annoy you.
I dont tend to like them in their own shows. I prefer them presenting, they have me in stitches on I'm a celebrity

yes 4getmenot, I agree with you, they are good on I'm a Celebrity, but I think they are needed to present the programme. We don't really need presenters like this on BGT - we have three judges already.
Backstage - and I don't mean at the side of the stage - they spend hours meeting and chatting to all the contestants before the show starts
I'm afraid I don't agree with your initial statment smurf. They are the link between the contestants and the judges and their reactions to the acts while they are performing add to the whole reaction. I think it would be very samey just to have the acts walk on and off by themselves.
Less time could be spent showing the audience as we know what they are doing by the noise they make.
