Knowing what we all know now, is it feasible to have a re-run in one months time. For example might all the wasted Lib Dem votes now go to Lab or Tory, might more people vote Tory to get Cameron in firmly or might more people vote Lab to secure Brown in No 10?
With the knowledge of the last week might there be a significant win for one of them?
This is one of the reasons -albeit tenuous- why the Polls all close at the same time and then the media can start telling us what they think has happened in exit polls etc
There will be a re-run Paul, almost certainly before the end of the year. Maybe sooner if (as expected) the financial markets take fright and share prices fall through the floor again. What is needed is a strong government, ie one that can carry through the necessary cuts and get business going strongly so that the nation can get working to produce some money (real money, not figures on paper). Any minority government will not be able to do this so will not last long.
