I need plenty of time to prepare myself - put drink down, slippers and cardi on, and venture out to garden!!

thanks craft
How do I know what I am looking for?
It's only visible for 3 mins jb so don't miss it! It's tracking NW to SE directly overhead here in Kent, so it'll be further to the south if you are "up country". Over Florida at the moment, heading our way - you can check here
http://spaceflight.na...a/tracking/index.html and run outside just as it gets to Cornwall.

i'll leave craft or someone else to answer that one, ive been concentrating on aircraft....
Sherrad it's big and shiny and travelling in a dead straight line, fast, across the sky. It doesn't twinkle or blink, just big yellow and shiny!

when you say big boxtops, what are we talking here, like obviously not an aeroplane big?
yep .. about 22.34 NW coast to 22.38 SE coast
Question Author

Ruddy big, tho .. looks like a shooting star of sorts .. very bright tho.

Aircraft have alternating red and white/blue nav lights

That's a bit precise on location Albags, how do you know that?
I am in the east will i be lucky to see it?
It's bigger than your average star jb, once you've seen it you won't be able to mistake it again.
I'm just outside Hereford - is it worth putting my coat on? (Also have no idea where to look).

Calculated from the chart.
