Hi ABers
No doubt this subject has been done to death but when i look in search i can only see how to convert from FAT to NTFS, my problem is my son bought a seagate expansion portable drive 250g so that he can store movies and watch them on his play station , this worked with my WD portable drives. But when he plugged the new drive into his PS it could not be found. i checked and found my drives are FAT but his is NTFS. I have tried to reformat to FAT but my lap top only gives me the option of NTFS , im using windows XP.
Any help would be appreciated

cheers

Welcome to microsoft trying to force everyone to use NTFS so they disabled the ability to format any drive over 32GB in fat32 in XP.

You can use a program used swissknife to format larger drives in FAT32
