In the film Viva Las Vegas there are several shots of a tall tower, which looks similar to the present day Stratosphere Hotel. However the Stratosphere was not built until 1996, so what is the tower that appears in the Elvis film?

Probably "The Dunes"... in 1961 it was the tallest building in Nevada... destroyed by implosion in 1993...
