Yes Keilo, you are correct, The lead song for the movie "Closer" is "The Blower's daughter" by Damien Rice.  The video was remade to add clips of the movie along with a deeper feeling of longing between the 2 singers that comprise "Damien RIce".  You can view both videos by visiting http:launch.com and doing a search on "Damien Rice".  I hope this helps

I know what song your talking about, its shown in the commercials with the movie if it isn't the damien rice song the blowers daughter.  Its by Jem, "come closer."  it starts off "come on closer, i want to show you what i'd like to do...." In Canada we've had a couple of versions of the Closer tv commercial. I'm not sure if the trailer features the same song, but one commercial features the song "Closer" by the artist "Jem". She is great, I highly recommend her album "Finally Woken". Probably my favourite album of 2004.

its actually two different teasers for the film "closer" that they keep playing on the telly. and in the one that first came out was that song by Jem, Come on Closer and in the second teaser that came out, it was the song by Damien Rice. So yeah, they're both correct. Just different teasers.
