Tiger Poaching

I'm sure I'm not alone in expressing my absolute disgust and despair at the killing of these beautiful tigers. However, if the market for these animal's bits and pieces didn't exist, poachers wouldn't kill them.

So my question is – How does humanity convince the Chinese (and others) that the killing of these big cats is wrong? And should we be trying to do so?

Considering there are many more tigers (10000) in America than India and 50000 in China what we should be doing is legalising the trade to save the wild tigers.

these are farmed for the purpose.....no different to any other animal farm although tiger farming is rare. Chinese RSPCA could check on the health & welfare of farmed tigers but we cant impose our laws globally.

I wouldn't mind a skin....now dont moan at me if you're wearing leather!!!

I would have thought that after his very lengthy apology on the telly, Tiger's bits and pieces might be safe ............. unless his wife catches him again !!! hth
