..... I did tonight only because it was broadcast live ie no retakes.I have to say with quite a lot of live theatre years behind me ,with Eastenders tonight I dont recall a collective display of truly awful acting from every member of the cast.Every one appeared so scared of live television they could scaresly read their autocues. The learning of lines would seem a simpler solution.

On another point I turned over to bbc4 at 840 and saw a stunning performance from SeaSick Steve.What a fantastic raw talen, presented in a very sophistcated performance.
