i've always been interested in the russian revolution so fancy this but didn't see it was on until now. Does it matter that I've missed over half an hour?

Could anyone fill me in on what's happened?

I'm watching it cos I haven't seen it since it was first at the pictures in 1972, I was in my last year at school and me and my friend Sue had a crush on Michael Jayston cos he had been on TV in The Power Game. We went twice to see it that first week it came to the Pivi!

You've only missed the diagnosis of the haemaphilia in his youngest son, Rasputin's first meeting with Alexandria, rasputin is a yound Tom Baker. Stalin and Trotsky have just turned up , trotsky is a very young Brian Cox and Stalin is an even younger James Hazeldine pre Londons Burning!

Fiona Fullerton is anastasia. It's such an in your face depiction of the vast difference between the Romanovs and the peasants.
Janet Suzman wasn';t a known tele actress at the time but i think she went on to make the series about the arnold bennett books, Five Towns or something , I remember mum used to watch that
Lawrence Oliviers' cameo appearance just came on cas!!!
