What was the character name of the woman soldier in Soldier Soldier who was the girlfriend of Garvey. We think she was played by the actress Holly Aird.

According to the IMdb she was called Nancy Thorpe/Garvey so must have married him at some point,.

Yes she did marry him but then she went as sergeant with the Red Caps and I think because she had her sergeant stripes befor him (he was only a corporal at the time) and the fact she had to go away that they split up for a few years but they did get back together around the time that Jerome Flynn left the series.
