We are not Sky customers but have a Sky box & just got the usual free channels! But just swithched on the tv & Sky box but it says 'No Satelite Signal'!

Partner's trying to tune it again but nothing is working except that it appears that the layout of the Sky menu/tv guide & settings have been updated!!!? Strange........

Anyone know why???????

Thanks in advance!!!!

What switchover, do you mean the one from analogue to digital?

If so then this does not effect Sky, that is digital already.

In fact it only effects things coming down your aerial anyway, nothing to do with what comes in via your Sky dish.
I believe Sky are updating their planner, a relative of mine on Sky HD had their planner changed last week.

Maybe Sky downloaded an update to your box and it needs to be switched off and on again to "reboot" it.

I usually find unplugging my Sky dish from the mains for 10 minutes and then plugging it in again does fix most problems.
Our sky menu etc was updated last week, but since then we've noticed everything is much quieter than before, and we can no longer access a sound level gauge on Services. Has anyone else found this, or is it just our Sky?
