Anybody remember "Armchair Thriller?"  Well spooky, and if my memory serves me right, used to be on in the middle of the afternoon....wierd....

i remember it !

used to have a night-time 'thames' logo on before it.the one i remember most was the one with a windmill and a ghost of a nun sat on her rocking chair - freaked me right out as i was only 8 or 9

Same here, Mattk - I remember the opening credits with a picture of a skeleton sliding out of a chair with a face like the 'scream' painting...ring any bells?

How freaky.  I was gonna post a question asking the exact same thing.  It was the music that scared me the most.  Check this out for the night-time Thames logo and THAT nun.
