Did anyone see yesterday's episode of Loose Women? They showed computer generated photos of the women, as they would look in 20 years time.
All the women participated, except carol McGiffin, who got quite upset at the prospect of having her aged photo shown and even threatened to walk off the set. Could this be because she didn't want her toyboy Fiance, to see what he has to look forward to in the future?

I don't have the tv on in the daytime, so don't watch Loose Women.
However, I don't blame Carol McGiffin at not wanting to see what she may look like in 20 years time - neither would I !!!!
The years pass by quickly enough as it is, without either wishing your life away, or looking at a wrinkly old you!

She is the only one on there that I really like Smudge. A very intelligent lady with her head screwed on - a brilliant sense of humour too. I don't watch it because the others drive me round the bend!!

Carol is a most entertaining person, and I think that is due at least in part to her looks.
Like a lot of people not sprayed with evolution's cologne - and I speak as one - she has developed an interestting anc challenging personality, which gives her an attraction which will last far longer than the more superficial looks of some of the women about whom she no doubt feels insecure.
I, and a number of my male friends, think she is attractive, because her wit and intelligence give her an indefinable 'something'.
The good thing is - if you are not attractive for your looks, you never hve to worry about being old - personalities don't age, they just deepen and widen, so while others gaze into mirrors and fret, you can simply go on your way attracting like-minded individuals for whom body-facism is too shallow to really bother about.
I think Carol has nothing to worry about - but I totally understand where she was coming from!

She is so charismatic. I think she is a very 'sexual' lady too (from my female point of view). I can quite see why men might find her very attractive. She has a lot of confidence, but can also be very coy! And she has a lovely figure and a very interesting and expressive face full of character.
She outshines the others completely in my opinion.

Exactly, Lofty, which is why the show is never as good when she isn't appearing, in my opinion. I can see why Mark loves being with her so much as life must be exciting all the time with her around. There is never a dull moment with her, I would love to be one of her friends as she goes all over the place and lives life to the full.
O I blooming adore Carol -she is unique.
I can only concur with most of the rest who say its not the same when she isnt on -she is one lucky lady with Mark but tell you he must feel he has won the lottery with Carol-she is a diamond.
