Where on earth do they get these people from?

This week's promises to be amusing, in a horrifying sort of way

I recorded it and am just watching it. I see what you mean!! None of them know what colcannon is?? Have they never lived.

Will let you know more when finished.
I don't always watch it but I caught it tonight and have actually set a reminder for tomorrow!!

Some of them have to be people who were too unstable to get in the Big Brother House and must surely have given permission for it to be transmitted `unseen'.
OK watched it. Couldn't believe Bernard. Got in a right tizzy because he wasn't the centre of attention. So jealous of Nigel. Got to watch it tomorrow too.
Yup, looks like it could be a good week. The makers of this programme do seem to have a knack of getting a good mix of obnoxious people. Do any of them think that they come across well?

I think the older woman is going to provide some quality entertainment.
The editors for this programme must have great fun!
They obviously look through the apllicants, for the grossest/weirdest/dysfunctional and put them together with the ones that will clash best.
Well, going by Mondays programme they are onto a winner this week! LOL
Aren't they awful - Bernard and that older woman in particular. Just how old is he - and still having tantrums because he isn't centre of attention. I quite like the ageing-glamourpuss (is she the one with the braying laugh) - I even warmed to Nigel after the first episode.

Most week's there is usually one strange 'un - but they have certainly surpassed themselves this week!
This series was originally really good and had some great people on who were great cooks...the producers seem to have moved the goalposts and fill the show with quite bizarre people who generally cant cook! Its just a mickey take now and is actually so predictable. Only worth watching for the comedy factor...Did anyone see the one with the guy who served up tinned oranges, half a banana and some squirty cream?! He was convinced he was gonna win! .
Some of them are extremely delusional ;-)
I love this programme and am horrified by it in equal measures. It's addictive.

Ethel - I hope your nose is still ok.
I love this programme but have to agree they now seem to pick the most odd people. Dave Lamb's commentary is a work of genius. That Bernard!! Must record it tonight as I shall be out.
Angie I saw that one! He was trying to prove how you could serve "good" food on a budget lol

I am gutted I missed last night's, I am going to have to see if it is repeated now :-)

Does anyone remember the school dinner lady from an early series?

She was first up and was convinced she was going to win. Her meal seemed very school dinnerish and she served it in her tiny, dirty kitchen. Her pudding was cheap 5 litre tub of ice cream and crushed maltesers, with strawberry jam on top. That was hilarious.

I agree it is less about the cooking, but I do get some good ideas from it now and again.

I remember her Ethel, she was called Vera and she had to borrow a table from her neighbours! Also on that week was a horrid woman called Pippa, who, when it was her night to cook, left Vera standing out in the cold because she was 10 minutes early!
does anyone think the commentator dave lamb sounds just like Harry Hill ?
i remember that one, its where the dog farted and that awful woman made a huge deal out of it, ok its not plesant but hardley life threatening.

i think tonights will be good!
He does Salla!
Dave really makes me laugh on the programme.

Last nights episode made me laugh when that girl walked out!!!
I don't blame her - Bernard was being a tw@t !
