twilight zone or outer limits

can anyone help me remember the title of an episode of the twilight zone or outer limits where a man was on a plane in a thunder storm and see's a gremlin type creature on the wing ripping at the engine and damaging the wing nobody else see's it and he gets more and more crazy, eventually the plane lands and the man is carted off to a hospital tied to a stretcher then you see a shot of the captain and engineers looking at the wing showing loads of scratches and damage.
