This is really bugging me, but at the end of series, when Jane and Rochester get married for the second time, the clip shows the whole family infront of a large red brick Georgian(?) house. I have no idea where this house is, and I cant find any listings of this location on forums, wikipedia etc. and i would really like to know the house!!!

many thanks, carole. :)

You could try imdb.com - the internet movie database - they normally have quite a comprehensive listing under filming locations.
When is this next on tv again? I thought I had seen a trailer for it.
as a direct descendant of the Eyres of Hassop, I can only direct you to our family tree, Prudentia xxx
Not sure why the fictional character of jane Eyre is related to the Eyres of hassop.
A lot of these period dramas are filmed in Medenham village, near Henley, Bucks. Plenty of georgian & other period properties to be found.

Checking with the Internet Movie DataBase,I find quite a few locations for Jane Eyre. The only one that seems to fit the "red brick" category is Sudbury Hall in Derbyshire (a National Trust property).

It might also be Renishaw Hall(used in the series) but this isn't quite red brick:~

I hope these help,it CAN be very frustrating to try and find a location in TV or the movies.
