It's by Irish band The Divine Comedy, but you won't find the theme as you know it on any of their albums.

Its called "Songs of love" and its on the album A Secret History, by The Devine Comedy -a beautiful song by a fab band. You should check it out on youtube (sorry I'm no good at doing the linky thing).
