......next month Jonathan Ross will be back on our screens and on our airwaves following his absurd supsension.

I can't wait.

The only reason for listening to the radio equivalent of beige was JR on Saturday mornings, so thank gawd he'll be back soon.

No doubt those who went out of their way and listened to the extremely funny broadcast of 18th October just so they could be 'shocked' and 'disgusted' following The Daily Pernicious whipping up an unwarranted frenzy, and even worse those sanctimonious lickspittles who didn't even bother going out of their way to be 'shocked' and 'disgusted' will no doubt be nasally whining in January that "I pay my licence fee harumph harumph harumph....."

Well I also pay my licence fee, and I for one am glad that his enforced exile will soon be over.

Yay or Nay?

He used to be entertaining, now his guests can't get a word in edgeways unless they his are his friends such as the awful Ricky Gervais who seems to be on Ross' show more times than the camera man.

His ego got bigger than his waistline, sadly. Another Barrymore and Turner, i think
Nay.

The man is an uncouth insolent tyke who is old enough to know better.

I'm not "shocked and disgusted" by his and Brand's behaviour (it takes a little more than that to shock and disgust me) although I have to admit I did not hear the offending article first hand, never having listened or watched any of his "cutting edge" entertainment. However, Andrew Sach's description of events was sincere enough for me to get a good idea of what took place and form an opinion.

Im pleased you look forward to his return so much, but if he and his style amuse you so much you need to get out more.

well said all, nothing much else to add!
I like him....
what exactly does he have to offer??? he is rubbish
Have you ever wondered why his uncouth behaviour is so popular? Because his ratings are high and he mirrors society today in the UK.
doc is right, he is a pr1ck but he is a popular pr1ck.
And I enjoy his shows! And I am a mature lady who gets out, isn't of low mentality (well I don't think so anyway) and has experienced all sorts in my life.

So Yay flip flop - I have missed him on Friday nights, but moreso on Radio 2 on Saturdays.
I am not uncouth Squaddy !! (I left you a message on the News thread about the Post Office)
^^ I totally agree. A sad indictment on society though.
Oops, sorry Lottie, we posted at the same time. My post referred to Sqad.
However - I think putting he and Brand together was a grave mistake and I think Ross deserved his enforced exile. He overstepped the mark!!
My mum, an extremely intelligent 89 year old, use to watch him until very recently. She loved his humour too!! It must run in the family because we all like him.
Surely you mean he is "wubbish" Gina and Drspock you mean he is a "pwick".

He certainly loves himself thats for sure but he's the only Englishman on the BBC.
My darling lofty...you uncouth? beggar the thought, I wasn't in any way refering to you my love.

I saw your message, but couldn't understand it.......looking for Ethel's reply........was that the message?
You said the Ethel's reply was valid or something like that and I couldn't even see a reply from Ethel!!!
I bet a lot of people will watch his first show after his return just so that can pick holes in it!!!

The whole thing will die and death and Wossy will carry on as usual. He is an immensely successful man and the BBC would have got rid of him straight away if he wasn't one of their best assets.
I can't bear him myself but as I don't have to watch himwho cares?
Man's a tw@t - overpaid oik that hasn't the first idea of how to conduct an interview...

...Couldn't care less if I never saw or heard him again!
The sad thing about him - and the other reprobate, is that they think they are funny. Compared with the late Jack Douglas, they are just rude overpaid fools.
