if you want to complain about a TV ad, the best bet is to take it to the Indepdent Television Commission (the ITC) which is the watchdog for commercial TV in the UK. It was set up shortly after the birth of commercial advertising on television in the the 1950s.It sets and maintains standards for commercial television which includes advertising.
