I do remember it - it has been mentioned on the site previously. It was a Checzh TV show, pretty scary - the first time most of us had seen a dwarf.

Czech? I thought it was from East Germany... I hasten to add that I don't actually remember it but I am only aware of it due to the renewed publicity which it had due to the spoof version on the Fast Show.

It is also available on DVD with the original 1960's BBC narration. Network Video release. You may find it in the Cult TV section of HMV or Virgin as a box set with The Tinderbox. The Box Set is called "Tales from Europe" if they are listed alphabetically.
