Does anyone know the location of the prison wing used in many of the shots in the film Pierrepoint. It looked real as opposed to a film set.

Coming from Lincoln I do know that some of the interior prison scenes were filmed at Lincoln Castle. I can remember my local paper running a feature at the time of filming.

Thanks for your answers folks. I had a feeling it could have been Lincoln Castle although I've only visited the prison part once so wasn't sure.
