The Royal - A Right Royal Confusion

What is going on? We've had 2 or 3 episodes of this series and it is not on next week - we have Midsomer Murders.

I've looked at The Royal website and it tells me the series has now ended, yet at the end of today's episode there was a trailer for 'next time'.

Please can we have some continuity. I have whizzed off my letter of complaint to ITV but I don't suppose it will do much good.

All I want is a the series of Heartbeat, The Royal, Midsomer, and whatever else they put on in the 8pm Sunday slot, to start at Episode 1 and carry on until the end instead of interleaving them all with just a handful of episodes willy nilly.

Well it can't have ended yet since there have only been 2 episodes so far. When you say the series has ended, do you mean for good or there'll be another series along later?
