Just finished watching Brokeback Mountain & I was totally moved, what a touching storyline � I even shed a tear at the end!

Fantastic film. I was a bit worried about the adult theme but I found it was very tastefully done.

i dont want to watch gay cowboys... it would ruin my dream of one day becoming a cowboy and taking on outlaws in the wild west with only a horse, six shooter and some john wayne lines.

i wasn't sure if i'd get bored or not but it kept my attention and i confess to a bit of a sniffle at the end!

If you come across any seriously dangerous baddies DarkM, I would use the John Wayne lines. Much more useful than a silly old gun.

Well I wasn't disgusted and kept thinking this could easily be the female gender but cowgirls???? maybe a different storyline.
I've had friends talking about it & i've had it recorded for ages and finally got to see it. I didn't want to see it with the junior jd's. Mr jd said he didn't want to see it so I did it in my time.
sleepy - I didn't mind the 2 men kissing either (didn't you watch it for anything but the kissing?)

Aye - when I were a lad, cowboy movies were all about lassooing broncos, fighting redskins, drinking whisky & throwing maidens into horse troughs !!

There was certainly none of that "funny" business going on !!

I guess Brokeback Mountain gives the phrase "saddle-sore" a whole new context !!
