can anyone give me the name of this childrens book

I read a story to my daughter about 25 years ago. The story was about a mouse and contained instructions on how to make a mouse in the book. The mouse was easily made out of a triangle of material and proved to be a favourite toy. I would really like to be able to get hold of the book as a present. Can anyone help me?

It might have been a book about 'finger Mouse' who was a popular TV puppet in the 1980's. I remember my son having a Finger Mouse pupper, which was just a triangle of felt with stick on ears. He made it at school. I have been searching on Google for a book and have come up with several references for the TV programme, but can't find anything on the book.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately this is not the book. I've made fingermouse on numerous occasions. The mouse in question was a soft toy made from a triangle of material.
