I had never looked at BBCi before, and have just watched Louis Theroux on my laptop via BBCi

What circular thing? All I can see is the BBC logo top left.
i assume you mean the red button?

no it's a circular logo mid screen that pauses the action on the BBCi programmes, can I get rid of it?
It's the buffering marker; it just means that the programme hasn't fully downloaded to your screen yet.
if you d/l iplayer so you can d/l the programmes you want to watch then it doesnt happen. if your just streaming it the quality isnt as good either.
I get that too on my computer at home - I think because my broadband isn't all that fast. If I watch something on a computer at College it doesn't do it. To avoid it you'll probably need to download the programmes rather than watch them online. For some reason nothing would download on mine though, so I have to put up with the circular annoying thing!

thanks for answers, suppose I'll have to put up with it, most of the progs are rubbish anyway!
