Cold Feet DVD boxset - music

I have the Cold Feet DVD boxset & have noticed that very little of the background music used when it was shown on TV actually appears on the DVD episodes. it seems to be mostly generic soft rock-type stuff, more like 'lift music'. Any idea why please?
