Does ANYBODY (other than me) remember a very old B & W American T.V Comedy Programme called "MY MOTHER THE CAR" ??. I can even sing the words to the signature tune of this prog BUT EVERYBODY that I ask reckons that I am talking a load of nonsense. This was shown in the late 50s, possibly about the time that the "Bevery Hill Billies" & "Car 49 Where Are You"? were on.. "Mister Ed" came soon after it.

Remember the title well but couldn't tell you a thing about it. Wasn't it Car 54 where are you? Think that was about two useless policemen.
You`re not daft. I remember watching it also lol.

I remember it very well, Jerry Van Dyke was the star, it used to be on TV on a friday evening I think, about 6.30ish. it replaced Mr Ed in the schedules as i recall.
Jerry van Dyke was also in the long running show Coach.
