I'm hoping to attend a recording of a tv show ( TV Burp ) at Teddington Studios . I am told it is first come - first served even with a ticket .

Has anyone attended a recordingh here ? How early you need to arrive prior to the stated opening time?

I went to see a recording of TV Burp about 4 years ago at Teddington (think it was the first series). We got there about an hour before and we were too early, no-one was actually queueing at that time. I would still aim to get there for that time though now as the show has got a lot more popular since then. I think they let you in about 20 minutes before they start filming and there is a warm-up man for about 10 minutes.

It's well worth going to as it's as funny being in the audience as it is watching it on TV.
I and three others had tickets for TV Burp. They print more tickets than there are seats available. We got there at 18.20 for entry at 19.00. We we then told at 1845 that they were full . This was a 200 mile round journey. The people behind us in the queue came from Sheffield. It is scandalous that they can do this. So we went 100 miles had an Indian meal then a 100 mile journey home. We also had tickets for another show the next week, but I would never ever go there again because they treat you like cattle. Don't bother unless you go about 1730. It's also about a 2-3 hour show.
