There was a piece of choral music, used as a bed to a piece Graham Bell was doing about downhill skiiing. (Wasn't really paying attention, showed a skier being airlifted after a smash when Bell was competing a few years back)

Heard the music before but don't know its name, very haunting, minimalistic arrangement.

Any clues?
Cheers.

Sure the piece wasn't about Saturday's crash?

Perhaps one source for the answer to your question is the BBC itself, either by contacting them via the Winter Sports webpage...

or the Sport Music query webpage...

Hi Kempie thanks for those links.
I'll try the last one, I'd visited the other two in my quest.

No the piece was about a previous crash on the same course from Bell's skiing days. He was saying how he was babbing himself when it came to his run after he'd seen the other guy airlifted to hospital.
So I dunno whn this was.. 80s sometime?

Cheers again
I thought the whole programme was great, I'd always liked watching the skiing but the other bits were very interesting. Shame a lot of people will probably miss it, as they will thinks its just about skiing.
