Did anyone watch last night and this evenings episode of Fanny Hill. The book is much better and it was banned for decades.

I've still got a paperback copy of Fanny Hil which I bought in 1963 a week or two before it was suddenly banned and withdrawn from sale!

I thought the ending was a bit abrupt, suddenly out of the blue comes her lover on a horse, in the middle of Lancashire? I thought it was a highwayman!!
