Where is he now and what is he doing? He made a short appearance in the 90s but has disappeared again from the music scene.

Peter Green is very much alive and well. He recently completed an extensive tour double headlining with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers. The tour was a massive success, and a joyous experience for those of us eager to see a legend in action. He recently released two albums well worth a listen to, they are The Robert Johnson Songbook and Hot Foot Powder (with Nigel Watson).
Peter Green is finally making music again after suffering serious mental health problems. After time living almost as a tramp, Green was fortunate to meet up with Mitch Reynolds, an old friend from his Fleetwood Mac days. Mitch has been a major catalyst in Green's re-emergence as a musician, with the assistance of her brother Nigel Watson. Peter Green is now happily doing what he does best, playing the blues with Nigel Watson and their band The Splinter Group, which contained Cozy Powell on drums until his untimely death in a car crash.
I know its his 60th birthday today, happy birthday Pete.
