Not a good start to the day

A bird just pooed in my hood! To top it off, I didn't know it had and so when I got into work put my cioat on the back of my chair, and was leant over my chair only to put my hand in the green stuff. It is making me keck, but eventually I got the guts to clear it off without yakking. Now I feel really icky and just found that my sandwiches are completely squashed already. Can I go home please?

Treat yourself to some new sandwiches at lunchtime and show the birds your old ones as a tasty treat then

Not a bad idea re the sandwiches, I'm not usually an icky type person, things don't me feel quesy but slimy green poo at this hour of the morning is not good. Roll on 4pm :-)

It's probably the dive bombing one that watches me as I wash the car or clean the windows.

It must then come in like a stuka, and scores a direct hit on the windscreen or patio door, usually after eating berries.

Leg, I wouldn't have minded but this was 7:15 on the High Street in Oxford (which is really long), and there was hardly anyone around so it could have poped anywhere but aimed for me!

My mum thinks it was an environmentally friendly pigeon, that decided it would be better to drop on an unsuspecting victim than spreading disease and filth by doing it on the floor. My husband was laughing so much, mainly because I was still retching when relaying the story to him, that he had to hang up the phone and call me back. Even my nearest and dearest have no sympathy for me!
