The OC gone?

I heard on a news quiz that channel 4 have taken the OC off air. Why is this and will it be shown on any other channels?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?

Viewing figures for the OC have been a bit dissappointing, so Channel 4 have pulled it, and will relaunch it in the Autumn, when Big Brother, the cricket etc are out of the way. I think it will pick up where it left off, and I think they'll be re-running the old episodes before that so fi (like me) you missed the first few you'll have a chance to catch up! Hope this helps - we'll all miss it!!
