I always thought that Great Ormond Street Hospital was run by the NHS. But having seen TV requests for money for the hospital I am beginning to wonder

Great Ormond Street Hospital is a charity in its own right, it probably does get some Goverment funding, but it survives mainly on charitable donations fome ordinary people like you and I, and also larger donations from businesses and the wealthy.
