Roy Skelton was the voice of both Zippy and George in rainbow. Rob Rackstraw is the voice of Spud and others in BTB .

Wow really? The voices are very similar!

And before anyone questions exactly why this 37 yr old is watching Bob the Builder, it's because my 2 year old insists on it :-(

Rob Rackstraw does quite a few of the voices in Bob the Builder, so I suspect that Spud's voice is based on Zippy!

They are very similar (my grandson insists on BTB as well!)

Trivia fans - Roy Skelton was also one of the original Dalek voices in Doctor Who in the sixties.
