An EastEnders query. If, as I am advised, Sharron Watts was adopted by Den and Angie, and is therefore no blood relation to Dennis, and they only met as adults, why the who hah about them having a relationship? Or am I missing something>

Yeah andy, you're right! They are no blood relation at all, haven't seen it in a while though lol

I guess that Vicki has a problem because she sees them as her brother and sister regardless of the lack of blood ties. Anyhoo it's a rubbish storyline and the sooner Vicki leaves the Square the better.

I seem to remember that even though there is no blood relation it would still legally bar them from marriage....but I am willing to be corrected. Certainly under roman law it would be a "hurl them from the tarpeian rock" offence as the romans had a more complete idea of adoption, and in the more dusty corners of the rc church it would count as incest as they adopted most of the julian legal system. "the hoary ghost of the roman empire, sitting enthroned in the ruins threreof" or something like that....
