What did you reckon to these first 2 episodes of Series 2? Did they move things forward as you expected? I read so many rumours about this series before it started, I can't yet see any signs that they were true.

I think they have moved things on as much as they can in the first two episodes...now it appears there may be a scientific experiment/brainwashing in the cards ~ who knows?

I do have to add I wasn't disappointed at all and eagerly await next weeks installments :o)
Sssshhhh!!! I have taped it and not watched it yet !!
LOL..I haven't given anything away ~ just the usual theories!

Have fun watchng :o)
Yup - watched both episodes last night (also have the first series on DVD, so overdosing on it at the mo). Just love the clash of the 2 worlds!! Those were the days. preferred the second episode, so will watch the repeat next week
Is this a wind up - were there TWO episodes last night?
Question Author
Yes. The first episode was on BBC1 9-10pm. The second episode was on BBC Four 10-11pm, and that will shown next week on BBC1 9-10pm with episode 3 on BBC Four 10-11pm, etc
cant believe that, i would have watched the second one as i loved last nights!!

i didnt take it as an experiment, i thought it may be him trying to wake up???

Am I the only one having a crisis because there's Trial and Retribution, Life on Mars AND The Verdict all on at the same time?
Who said I was addicted to tv? Thank God my daughter recorded LOM for me. If only I'd realised there was one more episode on BBC3.
I just love Philip Glenister - I used to know policemen like that!!
I was a kid when the Sweeney came out . In the playground one Lad would say " a man is helping police with their enquiries" while the rest of the Boys mimed someone being Duffed up! We just assumed that was how interviews went!

As regards theories the weirdest I heard is that Sam is actually a Martian with amnesia and the "world" is an exact copy of Earth in the 1970's ( as the aliens are about 30 light years away ) . Not sure about that one!
