Anyone else been told there is a fault with cable in the south east/London area?

We have had no cable for 2 days now :o(

The NtlWorld Service Status page lists ongoing "Planned Maintenance 4th Jan to 11th Jan", which occurs between Midnight and 6am. The "optimisation" and "upgrades" scheduled for the 10th and 11th affects "Acton, Cosham, Belfast, Brighton, Stoke and surrounding areas".

This should not have resulted in the total loss of service you describe. Have you tried rebooting your modem?
Sorry... I was in Internet mode and have just realised that you probably mean the TV service.

Other than rebooting the cablebox, I suggest calling the faults phoneline.

Internet & phone are fine!

I have called them and they have said there is a 'general fault' around London & the South East. They can't tell me how long the service will be down..getting a bit miffed now.
