Rusedski has served at 149mph, but don't know if it was Wimbledon 2005, so think this figure might be slightly low. Thanks for replies anyway Trojanfarce & Pantheon.
These were the gold medal winners. Sorry not to have been able (yet) to find the dates.
[edit] Gold
Malcolm Cooper Shooting, Men's Small-bore Rifle, Three Positions
Adrian Moorhouse Swimming, Men's 100 metres Breaststroke
Steven Redgrave and Andy Holmes Rowing, Men's Coxless Pairs
Michael McIntyre and Bryn Vaile Sailing, Men's Star Team Competition
Paul Barber, Stephen Batchelor, Kulbir Bhaura, Robert Clift, Richard Dodds, David Faulkner, Russell Garcia, Martyn Grimley, Sean Kerly, Jimmy Kirkwood, Richard Leman, Stephen Martin, Veryan Pappin, Jon Potter, Imran Sherwani, and Ian Taylor Field Hockey, Men's Team Competition
7) GB only won three gold medals that year:
Team GB Hockey
Malcolm Cooper - small bore rifle
Adrian Moorhouse - 100 Breastroke

Can't find any conclusive scheduling info online for 1988, but a quick search (lunch break here!!) indicates it may well be Adrian Moorhouse.

As to the tennis one, I know that the current world fastest serve is 155 but the 136 mark was the highest I could find.
Good Luck.
These were the gold medal winners, but I haven't found any dates. Good hunting !!

Sorry for the repeat. The first one didn't appear, and I thought it had been lost,
9) London to

Venice - 707
Madrid - 783
Oslo - 718
Prague - 644
Barcelona - 712

And Adrian Moorhouse is right, he won his medal on the 2nd or 3rd day of the Olmpics, the other two were in the second week.
I really must do some work.........
