Where was Victor McGuire born?

We have just been watching Goodnight Sweetheart & trying to figure out if Vic McGuire is a Scouser or not. I know he has been in a lot of Liverpool based series, and I have always assumed he was born in Liverpool but I cant find anything about him in Google, MSN, Wikipedia or IMDb - he is like the invisible man!! Can anyone answer?

Victor McGuire is an English actor, born in Tuebrook, Liverpool.
He is perhaps best known for playing Jack in all but series 4 of Carla Lane's Bread as well as Ron Wheatcroft in Goodnight Sweetheart. He has also appeared in such programmes as Dalziel and Pascoe, Casualty, and 2point4 Children. He appeared as the character of Amos Hart in the West End musical Chicago.
