**DON'T READ ON IF YOU'VE NOT SEEN EPISODE 3**

I saw episode 3 of Galactica last night and was very disappointed.
I though Galactica had taken a dark political turn what the echos of Nazi occupation from WW2. And then to deal with suicide bombings from the bombers perspective was quite brave considering the current climate. Then there's the firing squad where the cylons were going to kill 200 random civilians including the ex-President. But they didn't.

"Oh, by the way an hour ago the Chief found out about the executions and is on his way but we didn't tell you about it."

Does anyone else think the rescue was a huge cop out?
Especially considering the direction the programme appeared to be taking.
