digital clock ford mondeo

I have an "M" reg mondeo with digital display clock. The clock works fine but display not illuminated. Can't find anything in handbook re fuses etc. Any thoughts?Also have standard Ford cas/radio fitted. Can I get a CD player that plays mp3 discs that will just slot into the same place without having to get new connections etc?

Where is my car from!

Fully comp with third party on other cars

the clock has a bulb installed which is dead easy to replace once you get the clock out. the type of radio you want to fit will almost certainly need a new wiring loom as the connections will not match up. this too is easy as an adapter harness is widely available, it's only the price you have to pay which varies widely. try e-bay to give you an idea of what is involved.

Thanks v64paul will try and locate bulb. Halfords are doing free instalation on CD/mp3 players at the moment from �79 is this a reasonable price?
