does anyone know why they changed the actress?

It started with anothre blonde and then changed to gemma bissix, anyone know why??

the old claire got ill so then they got this one. she used to be in Eastenders as claire Nigels daughter!

They wanted to take the character further so changed her to a better actress who they thought would be more capable of the role
