so what say about china kicking some fat american behinds????

Hi matt66. I think it would be great for China to challenge US economically or even perhaps militarily. However, I don't think they have the stomach for it. Not at least politically.
whilst I agree with delboy3, I have to say it doesn't happen too often. Most of the time you will get certain people ranting with their hurtful ideas and radical political agendas on this forum "wanting to get something off their chest."
I think the Chinese regularly tell the Americans where to go in private discussions, but they do appear to be more vocal internationally in their disapproval of late.

The USA has always been wary and careful when dealing with China because it is a slumbering power that no one wants to antagonise, not least because China has a standing army of well over two million men.

China will overtake the USA as an economic power some time in this century and the sparks may start flying when China begins to assert itself more forcefully on the political stage and demands greater access to fuel reserves around the world.

When the UN was set up, China wasn't the original representative of the Chinese people because Taiwan was recognised as the legitimate government. However, the power of the Chinese mainland could not be overlooked and this situation changed at American insistence, I believe. This may have had something to do with the old adage about it being better having potential enemies inside the tent peeing out, than outside, peeing in.

I think the reason the Americans are so paranoid about weaponry is their understanding that technical supremacy is their only military advantage over the Chinese and they are desperate to keep it.

I have to be honest and say I'm not really sure if this is the type of thing you were looking for in your question, but what the heck!
Watch out for World War 3 being started in the Middle East with the USA and the Chinese battling over the Iranian oilfields.
Don't panic........just bury your head in the sand.
japan are my hot tips for the next spot as international trouble makers.
they have no resources of their own except for people and their excellence in technological advancement. as other countries catch up with them technologically they will have less and less money coming into the country which they can use to import the resources and materials they need to survive.
watch out for them.
Not being funny, but as much as the USA can be criticised for its current foreign policy I would much prefer it to the return to a 2 bloc world sphere - the Chinese are not the type of country we want having too much say in world affairs. Doubtless they will anyway.
