New Series of Little Britain

Ever since Mid-December I have missed this hilarious comedy.Could anyone tell me if they have a new series planned and if so when does it start ?

what i heard was they were doing a xmas special, and then doing a new series of something similar to little britain but not exactly the same - havent really heard that many details about this though.
